Losing body fat isnt always easy to do, so when it comes to losing body fat fast, it can be even more difficult for most of us to drop our overall body fat content without going to some extreme measures. The good news is that you dont have to get extreme with your diet or exercise program if you want to lose stubborn belly fat or overall body fat quickly. You only need to follow some of the tips seen in the video above and use one, two or all three of the following ways to lose that body fat:
1. Follow a simple reduced calorie diet that is high in protein but also incorporates a moderate amount of carbohydrates and fats. In other words, dont bother with the low-carb diets or any of these other fad diets because the only thing they do is help you to eliminate water weight very quickly. After that, you neither lose any extra body fat nor do you manage to keep the weight off because you will likely slip back into binge eating when your body decides that it really misses those carbohydrates. How many calories should you eat? Just take your current body weight and multiply it by 12. If you weigh 250lbs, for example, you will need to consume under 3,000 calories per day to lose about 1 to 2 pounds per week. Adjust your calories as you start to lose the weight; once you drop 10 pounds, be sure to multiply your new weight times 12.
2. Do whole body workouts that incorporate multi-joint movements. Why? These types of exercises get more than one body part involved and increase your metabolism, as a result. The more muscles you use during your workout, the more calories you will burn. Be mindful of your exercises and avoid isolation movements. Multi-joint movements make it possible to burn the body fat quickly because of the metabolic spike that occurs in individuals who exercise multiple body parts at one time. The bigger the movement, the better the burn!
3. Make sure you drink plenty of water. Remember, fat is water soluble, so you need a great deal of water in order to metabolize that fat in the first place. Ellington Darden, Ph.D., recommends that you drink about 128 ounces of ice cold water every day. Why drink ice cold water over warm or just moderately cold water? When you drink ice cold water your body has to burn extra calories to first warm the water up to body temperature. This increases the fat loss process and helps you burn the fat faster.
